I was listening to Sams ipod and this song called Cloud Nine by Evanescence started to play. It really caught my attention and inspired me to write this. The music was really calming and it talked about how one can get lost in a dream that can never come true. And how something seems real, but in the end it isnt.

Upon them weightless like a dream
Flow along on unseen streams
Feeling freedom all around
Quiet silence all around
Music sings from feathered peace
Darkness fades and light’s released
Floating here amongst the stars
Moon shines bright all fears are far
Stormy days bring freshest new
Laying around with nothing to do
Address here is Cloud Nine High
Forget the world up in the sky
In my blanket of white puff
Worldly things now seem too tough
And to horizons yet unseen
I keep my love within this dream

gorgeous! i love it kell! it's so pretty, all...happy, and peaceful. this really has a very serene theme to it. i can picture this being a reading at a cafe or yoga or something. it's almost meditative, really. see what evanescence does for inspiration? =]

I'm not sure I really get all the subtle bits about "feelings" and "emotions" I personally would have put it a bit about burying an ax in some guy's face, but that's just me. I like the fact that you wrote it like a poem instead of a giant pile of words. Take this poem/this idea and work with it some more. You've got the basic groundwork there, now just but some work into it to build it up into something really high quality
