Kurt Vonnegut-Assignment #2

As you all know, high school is filled with drama. Everyone is two-faced, and end up backstabbing each other after awhile. When you first start high school in ninth grade, you all want to be known, have a good reputation and have a lot of friends. But after awhile, you start to get to know everyone and the drama begins. High school seems to get very repetitive after awhile. Everyday, someone ends up getting hurt for stupid things. It’s either about relationships, friendships, bad grades, or boys. You can never trust anyone but yourself. If you were ever to live by anything, you should live by the saying “Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.”

An intruiging to beginnning to a possible short story for independent writing??? Think about it. Great conversational voice adn foreboding tone, a quality of Vonnegut's.
